A: Provision not available in current version
Q: Integration of Sandman with measuring equipments
A: Provision not available in current version
Q: Optimizing addition levels with the help of software
A: This is a part of sand plant automation and not covered in Sandman application.
Q: Parameter values without decimals
A: Instead of having 'n' number of decimal display only a single decimal.
Q: Providing optimum parameters with range.
A: Provision available in next version
Q: Rejection analysis due to raw materials quality
A: Change in the raw material to be identified and uploaded in red hearing (change in system) option and creating a model for the appropriate dates and then compare/analysis.
Q: Sand mould behavior while pouring the metal.
A: Feature not possible.
Q: Considering core sand infiltration in the analysis.
A: Generate MIS for various parameters in consumption.
Q: Shift wise / hour wise analysis or heat wise analysis.
A: Provision not available in current version.
Q: Source of change in suppliers / additives / consumption information.
A: Generate MIS for various parameters in consumption
Q: Supporting to SAP system.
A: Provision not available in current version.
Q: Correlation of additives and considering quantities.
A: Generate MIS for various parameters in consumption.
Q: Incorporate the Min - Max range of parameters in optimal target.
A: Provision not available in current version.
Q: Addition of new columns for casting defects. as foundry to foundry it varies and they are booking as per their regular practice.
A: Provision available in next version - provision to provide respective foundry naming culture only for rejection parameters.
Q: Direct prediction of effect in increase / decrease in additives on sand parameters and sand related rejections.
A: Feature not possible.
Q: Graphical representation of Significant parameters prediction like as in neighbourhood locater.
A: Provision available.
Q:
a) Is it possible to include total cost analysis sheet ... ( mathematical analysis.. considering the
prices of sand additives vis casting prices)
b) All components Vs All Rejections Vs All Sand parameters
c)
Single Component Vs All Rejections Vs All Sand Parameters.
d) Similarly Type of Rejections Vs all components
Vs one component
e) Similarly Single parameters Vs All Components Vs single / All rejections Vs particular
rejection.
A: Costing is not part of this application.
Q: Defect analysis mapping in graphical representation.
A: Feature not possible.
Q: In Significant parameters analytics - Addition of new sand parameters and addition of new sand related defects.
A: By default all available sand parameters and rejection types have been covered in respective formats.
Q: What is the maximum limit for no of components.
A: No maximum limits.
Q: Considering additives properties in analytics.
A: This application is all about data analytics.
Q: Appearance of Component Name in the Significant Parameter Algorithm component Drop Box.
A: As & when items are produced & get reported in the Rejection Excel sheet it automatically picked up and appears in Component list in the "Foundry Sand Report" (If not entered any time previously). For every component to be picked up in the Heat Map Algorithms minimum 20 points (entries of production & rejection) are required to be uploaded. After uploading , once a Sandman model is made with all entries -- If the soft ware has received minimum 20 points for a component then this component will start appearing in the Significant Parameter Algorithm drop box. Hence eventually as we go on uploading Data over a long period the required 20 points will be available & all the components individual Heat maps will be seen.
Q: Sometimes 'Overwrite existing data' not visible in Sand data upload menu.
A: This issue can be resolved if you select the existing "New Data" Button and press "Tab" key on your Key pad. The "Over write Existing data" button will appear.
Q: No availability of date selection in 'Rejection heat map', date selection is very important as we can analysis the actual rejection after cut- off date of corrective action.
A: Provision available in next version.
Q: Considering shift wise / hour wise parameters
A: Provision not available in current version
Q: Rejection analysis for the particular cavity.
A: Feature not possible.
